Public employment services | Profession-specific training

THE CHALLENGE

The client organisation, as the esteemed public employment service, has consistently focused on guiding citizens through their employment journeys. Offering over 1000 training courses across sectors like Accounting, Tourism, Languages, Transport, and Logistics, the challenge was to build and deliver these extensive online courses effectively and efficiently.

The courses needed to maintain a straightforward yet compelling narrative and keep learners engaged while requiring regular updates to remain current and relevant.

STRATEGIC APPROACH

In partnership with our Belgian project team, we leveraged Articulate Storyline to create tailored eLearning courses that matched the client’s diverse professional domains.

Drawing on detailed storyboards from our partner team, we designed and developed the media and functionality of these courses, ensuring they were both engaging and easy to navigate. This strategic design approach aimed to bolster the skills of job seekers within these specific domains.

IMPACTFUL DELIVERY

Our project’s delivery focused on three key themes: Ecological Competencies, Mechanic Maintenance, and E-Commerce and Marketing.

In the Ecological Competencies modules, learners followed the story of Barry Bigfoot, exploring how to make ecologically responsible decisions in areas such as buildings, transport, consumption, and waste management.

The Mechanic Maintenance modules covered the technical details of drilling, screw creation, threading, and professional glueing techniques, providing learners with hands-on knowledge and insights.

Meanwhile, the E-Commerce and Marketing modules deepened learners’ understanding of customer service essentials, including developing customer personas, mapping the customer journey, and navigating relevant regulations. Each course was designed to significantly boost participants’ skills and enhance their job prospects, fully aligning with the client’s commitment to professional training.
