Enhancing product knowledge and boosting seller efficiencies without inducing fatigue is a persistent challenge across the financial sector. The client’s engaging annual initiative, “Banking on the Stars,” is crafted to cultivate a competitive yet supportive atmosphere through a dynamic gameshow format. Each year, the event is customised to address the evolving needs of the employees and their customers, emphasising high performance and collaborative teamwork.
STRATEGIC APPROACH
“Banking on the Stars” unfolds over several stages across four months to increase participation by targeting four critical groups within the bank. This phased rollout included a variety of communication tools and learning strategies, all aimed at enhancing engagement and encouraging program adoption. The primary goal throughout the campaign was to generate excitement among participants, maintaining their interest and inspiration while avoiding the fatigue commonly associated with prolonged learning engagements.
IMPACTFUL DELIVERY
Project Outcomes and Key Deliverables:
- Gameshow Development: At the heart of this phase was the creation of compelling visual assets, including character and concept designs along with Microsoft Teams backgrounds, crucial for bringing “Banking on the Stars” to life.
- Launch Communications: An awareness video highlighted past achievements and drummed up excitement for the upcoming edition, setting the tone for robust participant engagement.
- Messaging Collateral: Continuous updates and winner announcements were communicated through a “Road to Victory” infographic, keeping the momentum alive throughout the event.
- Qualifying Round: We leveraged the robust features of the LMS platform to ensure a smooth and efficient start to the competition.
- Subsequent Rounds: Hosted on Kahoot, these stages fully showcased the project’s visual identity and enhanced the reporting capabilities by acquiring premium licenses.
- Reporting and Feedback: A focused post-event analysis was developed to evaluate learning outcomes, pinpoint knowledge gaps, and propose future improvements.
“Banking on the Stars” transcends the typical competition format to become a strategic educational tool that engages and motivates employees and significantly enhances their skills in a fun, interactive setting. Through this initiative, the bank deepens employees’ understanding of its products and services and strengthens team cohesion and dynamics.
