Global Sporting Organisation
Visual Learning Strategy
WHY
A global sporting brand had a clear learning plan using a Capability Framework and a Learning Activity Planner. It needed to serve executives and frontline teams with varied access and needs.
The format blunted impact. The deck was hard to scan and did not travel well. The challenge was to turn the plan into a functional asset: clear, portable and role-linked, so people could see how their work advanced the vision.
HOW
VSLS set a people-centred strategy: make the learning plan scan fast, role relevant and self-explanatory. We anchored on the Capability Framework and Learning Activity Planner, clarified their links, and signposted pathways for leaders and frontline teams.
We rebuilt the sequence as a simple narrative. Hierarchy, spacing and typography guided attention, with steady pacing and clear signposting to reduce cognitive load.
The deck now travels well and supports
swift, role-linked decisions.
WHAT
The deck turns strategy into action. The Capability Framework and Learning Activity Planner are clearly signposted, easy to reference, and faster to brief. Leaders and teams can find what matters quickly and link roles to the wider plan.
Early signals are positive — cleaner hierarchy improves readability, decisions happen sooner, and clarification requests have dropped. The format travels across channels, with tracking on usage, time-to-brief and leadership adoption to guide iteration.
Assets
The deck assets gave the Capability Framework a fresh, clear, and refined look while staying true to the brand identity. The design ensured the information was communicated effectively, enabling informed decision-making.
