WHY
In a trust-led audit market, the client sought to strengthen compliance and differentiate through better access to knowledge. They needed a framework that translated regulatory standards into clear, usable guidance for teams across practices.
The challenge was to design consistent, brand-aligned templates that sped creation and sharing while signalling rigour. The system had to be practical, visually clean, and easy to govern so knowledge moved fast.
HOW
VSLS designed a people-centred strategy to make regulatory knowledge usable at pace. Mapping audit workflows and roles, we set modular patterns for lessons, checks and job aids. Three principles guided every decision: plain language, traceability, and low cognitive load.
VSLS aligned tone and visuals to brand rules and set governance: intake gates, version control, peer review. Prototypes and quick tests removed friction and tuned for each practice.
WHAT
The work delivered a cohesive training framework adopted across practices. Standardised templates cut creation time and improved consistency, so knowledge is easier to find and use. Brand alignment strengthened credibility with auditors, clients and regulators.
Usability testing showed higher completion and fewer reworks, with reviewers spending less time on format fixes. Governance introduced version control and peer review. Ongoing tracking covers time-to-publish, search success and audit readiness, guiding iteration and sustaining gains.
